Grand View Media Group Brings Home Four GAMMA Awards

ATLANTA, May 18, 2011 - Grand View Media Group recently brought home two Gold and two Silver GAMMA awards from the Magazine Association of the Southeast (MAGS).

The awards recognize editorial and design excellence in magazine publishing. Senior Art Director Marty Harris, Editor Hilary Dyer and Circulation Manager Kevin Shields accepted the honors for Birmingham, Ala.-based Grand View Media Group at the 21st Annual GAMMA Awards luncheon on May 5.  

Grand View Media Group won a Gold award in the Best Custom Publishing (Consumer/Paid, revenues more than $1 Million) category for the June 2010 issue of Cabela's Outfitter Journal. This is the magazine's fourth consecutive year to be recognized.  

Grand View's other Gold award, in the Best Single Issue (published three times per year or less) category, was for Waterfowl & Retriever, Southern Edition 2010. Waterfowl & Retriever has won Gold awards for the past three years.

Grand View Media Group's January/February 2011 issue of Archery Business took home the Silver award in the Business-to-Business (revenues more than $1 million) category. Their other Silver award was in the Best Essay Consumer/Paid (revenues more than $1 million) category for the November 2010 issue of Bowhunting World.
