Grand View Media Forms Editorial Board of Well-Known Writers
Grand View Media Group (GVMG), EBSCO Industries’ magazine publisher, recently formed an editorial advisory board consisting of four prolific outdoor writers. GVMG also announced restructuring in its editorial department aimed at enhancing the quality and readability of its publications.
The editorial advisory board includes renowned outdoor writers John E. Phillips, Bob Robb, Ralph Lermayer and Mike Strandlund. According to Barry Lovette, GVMG general manager, the board will help define the company’s editorial focus, enabling GVMG to provide the most valuable and insightful hunting magazines available in the marketplace.
“We are very excited about our new editorial board,” Lovette said. “John, Bob, Ralph and Mike bring more than 80 years of outdoor editorial experience to our company, and they are known as leaders in the industry. They are a ‘dream team’ when it comes to outdoor editorial.”
Board member John E. Phillips has written 22 books on the outdoors and has published countless newspaper columns, magazine articles and outdoor photographs. Phillips is also the outdoor writer for the “Birmingham Post-Herald.”

Anderson will work closely with staff members and industry experts to develop exclusive editorial, creative direction, marketing drive and readership responsibility.
